After not facing the National Press since he became PM, today our friend Steve deigned to take questions.
Question:
Why did Steve un-avoid the national media amid a multitude of Maple Leaf flags today?
Possible Answers:
A - He was feeling sheepish after being slagged for opting not to attend this year's gala (hosted by the above-mentioned) Many CPC Ministers are also not attending.
B - He really hates it when his favourite Grit and hero - JC - can still steal hadlines and the hearts of Canadians.

PMSH said - that if the opps pass the throne speech, it is his mandate to govern and everything in the throne speech will thereafter be a confidence matter.
To put it simply - if opps pass the throne speech, and then later oppose something that was in the speech, we are going to the polls.
Indeed. By my way of thinking, that's a rather cheap but procedural way to do politics.
Pretty good strategy.
This throne speech will have everyone sitting up to take notice.
MSM will be VERY busy.
PMSHs Speech from the Throne is his mandate to govern (like he had a majority) ... or Dion leads the Liberals into an election.
