The Price of an Orchard Endorsement

The rumour is that David Orchard will endorse Stéphane Dion. What has the professor promised the farmer? Understandably, the Orchard group has been calling for a seat for DO. Logically, Mr. Orchard would run in Saskatchewan - it's not like he'd be challenging any incumbents. But alas, no.

Orchard wants a seat alright. In QUEBEC. How is M. Dion going to work this? Replace Mme Robillard with David Orchard in Westmount-Ville-Marie? Dr. Patry in Pierrefonds-Dollard? Or will he be banished to the Liberal wasteland known as the regions and left to fend for himself?

As I said on Cherniak's blog, if M. Dion sticks him in my riding we'll have a field day running him out of the province. Some were encouraging Orchard to settle for a BC seat - he should take their advice.
